Two different definitions of the same word
Both products talk about impersonation, and they mean different things by it. Spikerz means somebody creating a fake account that pretends to be your brand, which it tracks and gets taken down. RemoveSpam means somebody commenting under your video with your name and avatar to send your viewers to a Telegram scam. Both are real problems. Only one of them happens in your comment section.
If your real worry is the account, not the comments
Account takeover, credential phishing aimed at your social team, and auditing who has access to which page are security problems a comment tool does not touch. If that is what keeps you up, you want a security platform, and RemoveSpam is not one.
Equally, if you are a creator whose comment sections fill with crypto scams and whose login is protected by ordinary two-factor authentication like everyone else’s, a brand security platform is a lot of product to buy for one feature.
Transparency about price
RemoveSpam publishes its prices: $149 to $299 per month per channel, with a 14-day PRO trial and no credit card to start. Spikerz routes pricing through sales, which is normal for a platform sold to organisations and does mean you cannot compare the two on cost without a call.
Choose Spikerz if
- You are protecting an organisation’s social accounts, not one channel
- Account takeover, phishing and access auditing are live concerns
- You need fake brand accounts found and taken down across platforms
- You have a security team and procurement budget
Choose RemoveSpam if
- You are a creator and the comment section is the problem
- YouTube is the platform that matters to you
- You want to see pricing without booking a call
- You want to start on a trial today rather than enter a sales cycle
