RemoveSpam vs NapoleonCat
NapoleonCat is a social media management suite covering a dozen platforms, with rule-based moderation as one of its features; RemoveSpam does only YouTube comment spam. Which is better depends entirely on whether you are managing many channels or defending one.
What NapoleonCat is
NapoleonCat describes itself as "a powerful social media management tool for engagement that centralizes conversations, automates moderation, and helps your team respond faster." It covers Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X, Google My Business and the app stores, with a unified inbox, publishing, analytics, reporting and social CRM alongside auto-moderation.

A suite and a specialist are not really competitors
If you run a brand presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and X, and you need one inbox, a publishing calendar and reports for a stakeholder, a suite is the correct purchase and a single-purpose spam tool will not replace it. NapoleonCat is genuinely good at that job.
But breadth has a cost in depth. Moderation in a multi-platform suite is necessarily configurable rather than opinionated: you write the rules, because the vendor cannot ship detection tuned to every platform’s particular abuse patterns. That works well for keyword-shaped problems — profanity, competitor mentions, off-topic promotion.
Where keyword rules run out
The comments doing real damage on a crypto or finance channel have no banned words in them. "Congratulations, you have been selected — message me to claim your prize" contains nothing you would ever blocklist, and the account posting it is using your name and your avatar. What marks it as a scam is the relationship between the comment, the account and the channel, which is not something a keyword rule can express.
That pattern is the thing RemoveSpam is built for, and it is the reason detection is not configurable here: it is trained on the attack rather than assembled by you.
Running both is a normal answer
A brand team can perfectly well keep a suite for engagement across platforms and point a specialist at the YouTube comment section, where the scam traffic actually concentrates. They are not competing for the same budget line in any meaningful sense.
